Green Banks is contracted to assist in the management of vegetation on Government Island in the Columbia River. We have our own boat which transports material and personnel to and from the island. We are providing monthly herbicide applications to reduce weed coverage and monthly site surveys to track the location and movement of certain weed species and the progress in removal. In addition, we prepped the ground with an ATV-pulled harrow, seeded the ground with native seeds, and pressed the seeds with a 1,200-lb roller.
