Background

Kaitlin joined Green Banks in 2022. Her work as Green Banks' Botany Specialist includes leading vegetation surveys, habitat management, non-native weed control, and native planting and seeding. In the office, she enters vegetation monitoring data, researches potential bid opportunities, and prepares proposals and reports. In addition, Kaitlin manages and maintains Green Banks’ native plant nursery, which is used for Green Banks projects. Before joining Green Banks, Kaitlin collected ecological data, including phonology and vegetation surveys, for the National Ecological Observation Network, and worked within the horticulture industry. She shares her knowledge and passion for plants through her volunteer work at the Native Plant Society of Oregon and the Citizen’s Rare Plant Watch.
